It's All About Sport

We've been watching the AB's a fair bit lately and Flynn likes to dress for the occasion when there's a big game on.
Last weekend we met our friend Megan for brunch in the morning and watched the footy in the afternoon. Megan had a fantastic surprise for the little fella.

All dressed up for the game

Hey, is that a personalized cap? (Thanks Jo)

The All Black & Grandma on the way to brunch

Flynn's always keen to try out different sports, but the
sheep-back-riding took him a little by surprise

Um, this wasn't what I had in mind when I ordered a 'fluffy'

Though Flynn hadn't expected to find himself riding a stuffed sheep on the cafe table, he soon warmed to the idea and by the end of the day, he was bouncing like crazy as we drove him across the floors at home.

Water Sports
Flynn has recently grown out of his Surf Tot swim suit so we bought him another in colours that will ensure we don't lose sight of him in the surf again.

... Aerodynamic swimcap included

It's a take-down!

Flynn had almost escaped when the shark locked on to his left leg

The boys hit the showers

It's Singapore's national day in August and we've been treated to some amazing aerial acrobatics as the fighter pilots practise for the airshow. Our apartment has had a brilliant view of it all and we can't wait for the real thing.

Formula One, here I come

Hello Grandma!

Grandma Julia has come back to visit her favourite little Singaporean (and we're not talking Blake here).

Flynn thoughtfully baked his signature carrot cake
(Notice his top button undone in anticipation of cake-time)

Flynn's loving the extra attention and is as happy as a clam back in Grandma's arms. (Mum? Who?) He certainly seems to remember all those songs and cuddles from back in his newborn weeks.

Ok Grandma, just the half-hour aromatherapy massage today thanks

Unfortunately this time Grandma has to put up with
a little elder-abuse now and then

Like Father Like Son

Flynn not only looks like his dad, he's starting to act like him too.

He gets pretty excited when there's a drink on offer

He's off out the moment my back is turned

He enjoys lounging on the couch with the remote control

He's inseparable from his phone

And he likes his grub
(Kumara and pumpkin - good kiwi lad!)
