Happy New Year from the Kackies!

Week before Christmas

We had a kids' Christmas-cracker-making party at our place just before Christmas (an excuse for some mulled wine drinking for the adults). It was a real success, with the kids really enjoying the activity and the crackers looked great.

We began the afternoon, of course, with snacks - including homemade traditional xmas mince pies and xmas cake (neither of which were made by me).

Then down to business...

After all that, a spot of swingball on the patio and some running around in the garden. As you can see by the lack of clothing, it was REALLY mild! Gone all that snow!
