At the zoo, I we found our feet in the water with a load of little dead-skin-eating fishes. It was horrendously ticklish and i could only manage to keep my heels in. Blake's trying to tough it out but collapses into floods of tears as it finally becomes too much

Benjy's teething and gnaws desperately at everything

Unfortunately this teething lark has meant very little uninterrupted sleep for me. Last night was a good night with nearly 4 hours straight!

Ahhh, if only we saw more of this at night!

Benjy's First Swim

Benjy's had the necessary shots and so it's pool time!

He took it all in his stride and appeared as if nothing were out of the ordinary as he was swished around and occasionally got a face full of water as he was made to accompany on a Flynn chase ("be a tiger mummy!")

He got a bit nervous when dad came for him

All that swimming gave us an appetite so off we went to our new favourite dinner spot on Robertson Quay - Bar Bar Black Sheep, where we got some yummy Thai, and a burger and beer - for Blake, obviously.

Bengy - Hanging

Flynn LOVES hanging out in the bathroom, flushing the toilet repeatedly, going through the bin, running the taps, 'washing' things, opening things he should not be opening and pouring/squeezing/tipping them out- and getting very wet.

In this photo he's dressed in his 'Children's Day' party clothes -

an international day which was celebrated at his preschool last week. He's scanning the sink area for his next target (and he's spotted dad's Blackberry)

Julia was recently back in Singapore for a quick ten days, but we managed to squeeze in lots of activities... and stories.
