We're pretty excited about moving, especially as the new place is bigger (3 bdms) and more spacious and in a fantastic central location. It's also massive (approx 900 units). The only downside is that the pools are being re-done - which means five months (and a little extra of course) with no swimming at home. The upside to that is that the planned pool area (there are about five pools of different types) will be really amazing. It's also older and some of the decor (ie the bathroom tiles in main bathroom) are certainly not what you'd pick yourself, but it's worth the extra space and location.
If you wanna check out some photos of the new condo, follow this link: http://www.singaporeexpats.com/singapore-property-pictures/condo/aspen-heights.htm
Anyways, the new address is:
263 River Valley Rd
04-07 Aspen Heights
Singapore 238 309 (yes this is the correct postcode, I have given out several versions but this is really it).
So here's a bit of a catch up with some photos from the NZ trip which haven't yet made the blog.
Flynn's not backward in coming forward
Cool pigs!
Aunty Nina liked the rabbits until they started biting her heels
Nana catches a cow
Flynn's most impressed with Waikanae's finest flax
And loves a 'row, row, row-your-boat' session with his cousin Jordan
Course, you can't go past a shopping mall ride... ever - literally.
Family dinner in Nelson, after the wedding
(Jordan, Nina, Flynn and Matt)
Flynn gets an Aunty Lisa cuddle and tucks into a tasty straw
Grandma and Flynn having a chuckle at the gallery
After the wedding, we headed by boat to The Abel Tasman (Awaroa Beach) for a few days. The weather was beautiful and we stayed in Rachael's family bach (Blake's brother's girlfriend), which was awesome. We had a great time just chilling out and getting amongst nature.
He hated the life jacket in fact - which was not surprising
since it didn't fit him too well
To make the best of a bad situation, he had a good chew
on it and then fell fast asleep
Rachael's bach at Awaroa - what a view!
"Follow me dad!"
We did a few short walks to nearby beaches, not having
the equipment to lug Flynn very far
Quick photo opp. after heading over the estuary
Flynn couldn't get enough of the beach
Mission Bay on a cold and windy day
Then it was back to Singapore, with the devil-child
Who, thankfully, had to sleep at some point!
