Just to jump back in time a little - thought we should start at the very beginning. This is our trip to Singapore in Dec 06. We checked it out before accepting Blake's job, just so we'd know what we were in for. These are the photos of our adventures at the time.
We did a bit of touristy stuff as well as the sensible things like checking out the housing, transport, supermarkets and shops etc.

Sentosa Island is a small island just off Singapore - so close you can get a cable car or travel by car over a bridge. We took the cable car for the amazing views.
The island is like a leisure park, with lots of cool things to do like visit the aquarium (see photo of blake with the nice crab), see a dolphin show, visit butterfly and insect centres and lots more. The whole thing is set in beautiful botanical gardens and the beaches are amazing. Those were a few shots of us enjoying the delights.
