We've a bit of catching up to do! To start, here are a few random shots from August.

Here we are on a walk from Mt Faber to Hort Park - a beautiful route that takes a long walk through the forest on a boardwalk, high above the ground. Reminds me a bit of NZ, except it's stinking hot.

Flynn has a new potty to introduce him to the idea that this is the place where he will be doing poos and wees. He loves it and enjoys spending hours pushing it around, climbing on it and agreeing with me that it's where poos and wees go - though so far prefering NOT to sully his new play-thing with such unmentionables.





Dave and Bev, Blake's uncle and aunt, came to visit us whilst on a cruise that visited Singapore. They had already spent some time checking out the local sights and so spent a weekend with us, mostly chilling out and checking out the area nearby. We really enjoyed spending time with them and are hoping they'll visit again on their next cruise!







I took Flynn to some children's theatre the other day - I had some slight concerns that he might go berserk and destroy the set and/or disrupt the play, but he was entranced. It was designed for the under 4's so was very easy to to follow and they LOVED it. Flynn did have to be directed off the set a couple of times, but a sly biscuit (no food allowed) kept his wanderlust at bay.

Flynn's been going through some picky phases in his eating. At one point he decided that he didn't want to eat any form of protein. Fortunately that was short lived.

Now there are many meals which he will not eat with a spoon. Beans is one (he insists on eating each bean individually, with his fingers), and pasta is another - he must also eat each piece individually with his fingers, after removing any excess sauce.

A look of satisfaction crosses his face as he admires his handiwork - he has managed to avoid any unnecessary sauce, while eating every last piece of his favourite seashell pasta.
