It's an amazing park with dozens of playground areas beside the beach. The kids loved it! Other than having to take shelter for about half an hour from a short-lived storm it was a great day out.

Yes the boy needs a haircut!! But his haircut phobia is making this an impossibility. The last three haircuts ended halfway through, in hysterical fighting, thrashing, kicking and screaming. With the last one even involving a facial cut from the scissors! We are contemplating having another go, but I don't fancy our chances.
We even had him watch two of his little mates have their hair (calmly) cut. After that he was keen for his hair to be cut, but as soon as she pulled out the COMB, the hysterics started!

We had this problem with Liam! After many attempts to get him to the hairdressers, we gave up trying and bought some clippers and now do it ourselves at home!! I put him in the high chair, give him an ice block, put the TV on, and get to work!!!
