The little fella was a bit worried at first...
But we didn't drop him or anything, so he's starting to feel a little more confident now.
Julia has now flown to Dubai where she will be performing supergran duties again - this time to her second grandson, who actually arrived in the world today! (Congrats to Bec and Andy!)
Grandma and Flynn kickin back and having some fun
Flynn is changing all the time and is now very active, alert and curious. He loves physical pursuits - which at 2 months old are limited to flailing his arms, craning his neck, cycling his legs and doing very impressive 'stand ups' - where he can take his weight on his legs when supported. He spends quite a bit of time practising these pursuits and is very pleased with himself when he pulls off a good session.
Dad and Flynn doing their daily workout
Great concentration is required for such feats
Having a laugh on the change mat
"Hmm, I wonder what dad's torso tastes like"
"I'll just sit this one out thanks"
"Well, hello there"
All the action sometimes makes him a little sleepy
I will be bringing Flynn to New Zealand for a visit in March!
Blake will be away travelling overseas for most of that three weeks so it's a good chance for us to make use of that time (though it's a great shame he can't come too). We will be taking a tour through Auckland, Wellington and Nelson to introduce Flynn to friends and family - so don't be going away in March ok!
