Aunty Nina Comes to Stay

It was awesome to have my sister Nina visit us for a few weeks at the start of November. She hadn't been to Asia before so she was pretty excited to be coming to Singapore, and also with us to Thailand for a few days. (Blake was going for a conference but we were going for a good time.)

Nina comes through the 'Nothing to Declare' aisle,
looking nervously for the sniffer dogs

We drag poor Nina to a one year old's birthday party

Cheesy family shot with struggling child

Heading off to the pub to watch the All Blacks

Ended up being a boozy night for everyone.. except me and Flynn, sob

Off to Thailand!!! Yay!!!

Beach babes in Phuket

The weather was great and we just ate and lounged

There was even a kids' pavillion, where Flynn spent time
going nuts each day

...that's when he wasn't being spoiled rotten by Aunty Nina

Someone has to do the work huh!

Then, back in Singapore, Nina and I check out Chinatown
and get tipsy on Singapore Slings

We had lots of fun hanging out locally, sampling the local fare, as well as doing the best of the Singapore sights - including Little India, Chinatown, the Quays, Orchard Road, Macritchie Reservoir and more.

Nina shops for a new sari in Little India
You can't tell from the shot, but we found the
biggest gold shop in the world...probably

We were really sad to see her go and we miss her still.
