With the advent of early spring, we have been enjoying getting outdoors again. We've had some wonderful weather with beautiful sunny blue skies, but mostly its still pretty chilly.
We thought we'd learn some new tricks and Flynn was keen to have a go on the skateboard we've had for a while. He got it going pretty well until he hit a patch of stones and landed in the kerb.
Benjy hasn't been keen to ride a pedal bicycle before, preferring his balancing bike (two wheels but no pedals). But he's too big for that now, so we suggested he give pedal-biking another go.
After a push off, he had it sorted in one go. Thanks to the balancing bike the only thing to master was the simple art of pedalling, and away he went.
The neighbours joined us for a play.
Rightfully pretty proud of himself.
Flynn says skateboarding's ok but he prefers to bike and now that Benjy's biking, we have been enjoying biking together around town.
