We decided to have Christmas in the mountains this year - bit of skiing, nice log fires in the evening, that sort of thing. So we headed to a nice little ski town in Germany called Schlucsee, named after the lake.
Unfortunately the warmest winter on record meant that there was absolutely no snow. Still a pretty town though, with a nice lake to hang out by.
Check out the sledding slopes.
We enjoyed some lovely food while there
And spent some time by the lake hunting for interesting rocks
And making forts.
The weather was lovely
On the way back we stopped at a massive down-hill slide thing, that you go down on a cart.
Because it was holiday time and there was no snow, every man and his dog was there for the cart ride - it was a very long, cold queue.
Then we were back home to relax and enjoy the School hols.
