Benjy's First Birthday!

Poor Benjy's first birthday happened to be timing pretty badly (well, our move did) as we were actually arriving in Switzerland on his birthday. So to make sure he didn't miss out on any fun, he actually had a 'birthday fortnight', with celebrations spread over a couple of weeks.

We started out with presents at home, a week before his birthday. He was pretty stoked with the whole present-unwrapping process.

Then we had a small birthday party for him on the 14th May, at the Swiss Hotel in Singapore, where we were staying just before leaving for Switzerland (since all our gear was packed and gone). This also doubled as our last goodbye to our close friends. (We had a big farewell for all our friends and neighbours the week before).

We had two rooms so one was designated as 'party room'

The big boys were overjoyed!

The big boys went downstairs for some swimming pool fun when it all got too hysterical upstairs!
